The AASHTOWare Bridge Mobile Inspection, powered by Mayvue, provides inspectors with the capability to utilize cutting-edge technologies in the field. This resource empowers inspectors to operate seamlessly regardless of their location, without dependence on internet connectivity, all while maintaining a paperless workflow. The application is adept at functioning across both mobile phones and tablet devices, streamlining processes by negating the necessity to carry additional tools such as a digital camera, inspection paperwork, or manuals during on-site inspections.
Featuring a self-guided interface layered with robust error-checking mechanisms, the application facilitates precise and detailed data capturing for bridge inspections. Its user-friendly design aims to reduce the learning curve typically associated with similar software categories. Select fields leverage the device’s microphone, allowing inspectors to transcribe information verbally rather than manually inputting text. The real-time sync function consolidates all collected data during inspections, sparing inspectors the arduous task of manual data entry upon returning to the office.
The capability to capture high-resolution images during bridge inspections and correlate them efficiently with defects, components, or NBI items in an organized manner distinguishes this tool. This feature is instrumental in avoiding the cumbersome process of sifting through numerous photographs and manually linking them back in the office.
Seamless compatibility is established with the leading Bridge Management software, AASHTOWare BrM, enabling hassle-free data interchange between the two applications. Notably, both applications are developed in tandem to ensure feature parity – updates to one program are mirrored in the other.
